Dear Dr. Niman,
Below is a letter I wrote to Matt Gryta, and his
response.

Dear Journalist,
I believe that your Novemer 25th article on the Critical
Mass incident
contained falsehoods.
I am fairly certain that abuse of power among police is
a significant
problem in this city. This opinion is based upon
personal experience, as
well as credible confidential disclosures I have
received, and other
recent incidents documented publicly, such as the bogus
traffic holdups
on Humboldt Parkway.
What I find most appalling is that you charged Michael
Niman with biting
a police officer after he was acquitted of that charge.
I believe that
you should either offer a retraction of that statement,
or provide new
evidence that lends support to your assertion.
Yours truly,
John Bartley
